Kim Delaney was an American actress. Her most well-known role is because of her part as Detective Diane Russell, in the ABC show NYPD Blue. For this she won an Emmy Award. Her most well-known role is her part as a character in All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Delaney was the sole child of a United Auto Workers senior executive as well as a domestic worker was raised with her four siblings. When she was a little girl, Delaney hoped to be a court-reporter. But in highschool her modeling career began when she was able to model commercials, she moved to New York. The role she was given was that of a child's innocence in the soap opera All My Children. Delaney's career has been filled with numerous television films and dramas. In contrast to her impressive professional career, Delaney's personal one is not as happy and prosperous. She has been in the past accomplished actress battled addiction to alcohol, and was married twice only to fail. In 2005 she lost the custody of her only son.
